Users must be aware that the Services rely on the use of Blockchain technologies, which entails several consequences, as outlined below. If Users need more information on those risks, they can contact MFL at support@playmfl.com.
By using the Platform and the Services, Users warrant that they have read and understood the following disclaimer.
IF USERS DO NOT AGREE WITH THE RISKS NATURALLY ARISING FROM THE SERVICES OR IF THEY DO NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE TO UNDERSTAND THEM, THEY SHOULD REFRAIN FROM USING THE SERVICES.
Technological risk
Users must be aware of the technical risks linked to the Services and the use of Wallets, including risks arising from an error or a security defect associated with the Blockchain, which may cause data loss or loss of access to the Crypto-assets.
Users understand that MFL does not have any control over such Blockchain and cannot prevent errors or failure, including, but not limited to, Sybil attacks, smurfing malware attacks, or other new methods known or unknown.
Furthermore, Users acknowledge and agree that they are fully liable for the security of their Wallets and Collectibles. They must ensure their Wallet is secure and never share their Wallet credentials or seed phrase with anyone. MFL will never ask for the User’s credentials associated with a Wallet.
MFL does not store any password or seed phrase, nor has any access to any User credentials, except the User’s address email when a User willingly decided to share it with MFL, and therefore cannot be held liable for any security breach attributed to a User.
Economic risk
Users are made aware that Crypto-assets and Collectibles are assets whose value is not inherently guaranteed and depends on unregulated markets (in which fraudulent acts may occur under traditional financial regulation).
By using the Services, Users are exposed to high risks of the Collectibles loss of value.
Legal risk
The legal framework of Crypto-assets and/or Collectibles varies according to the jurisdiction in which Users are located and Crypto-assets and/or Collectibles may be banned or subject to a regulatory framework that could significantly or totally lower their value.
Moreover, the applicable legislation may change in the future, imposing subsequent obligations on MFL and restricting the actual offer of the Services. The Services may also be impacted by changes, restrictions or legal prohibitions made in the relevant legislation and future legislation, notices, rulings, injunctions, that may impact the existence or lawfulness of Crypto-assets and/or Collectibles.
